My boyfriend owns a 2001 Dodge 4x4 truck that looks great but has about 135k miles. The front axle was starting to rattle badly after going over a bump in the road and around curves. He took his truck to Main Street Automotive and had it checked out and they did a thorough inspection of the front end and found several things wrong.
The owner, Alan, gave us a detailed list of things that were going bad, then he took us outside and showed on the truck each item and demonstrated why it needed repaired. He also gave us a detailed price estimate, which was very reasonable, so we let them do the work on the truck. My boyfriend stated to Alan that he wasn't planning on getting a new truck anytime soon and was happy with the one that he had so we wanted his advice on which parts to use. Alan stressed the point of using the higher end quality of NAPA replacement parts over the cheaper ones since we wanted to keep the current truck... so we did. They also installed a front axle leveling kit for that my boyfriend had already purchased but had not installed yet. This was so he can use larger off road tires.

After the truck was finished, it operated great! The whole front axle and suspension problems were gone and the truck handles like new again! I want to thank Alan and Main Street Automotive for doing such a great job and at a very reasonable price. I also noticed that in the photos on the home page of their website is a photo of our black dodge 4x4 truck while the front axle was being repaired... so if you need proof of my story, then there it is.
Over charge people for storage, and tows in their time of need. How is a tow and 3 days storage 700+ they can suck it.
