We were coming back home from Patrick's Point. There were four of us, two kids my wife and I. We had to wait over an hour to get our pizza. When it came out, it was mediocre, dough was soft/soggy and needed some salt. The sauce had little flavor as well. We were not the only ones who waited for over an hour, two other groups and one couple which left. .It was a Sunday and they were not busy but steady. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen.
On our way home, and we decided to stop by to grab food.. we asked how long the wait would be because we had another few hours until we got home and they told us not very long, should only be about 15-20 minutes, so we sat down and ordered. Sat there for about 30 minutes no one came up to us or talked to us and over heard them telling other tables the wait is gonna be over an hour, and any time we tried talking to them they walked away to the back, or the other room. So we waited for about an hour and asked if we could get our pizza in the box to go when it's ready and the lady snapped at me being really rude... Even though they were bringing out people's orders that were behind ours. Needless to say worst and most rude place I have ever been to. Lol.
We were traveling through the state and stopped for a "quick bite" at Stagecoach Pizzeria but meeting Louie (the waiter, best ever!) plus amazing food (the wraps, the soup, pizzas and sandwiches...) and the beer... well, it is our third day here and still having the time of my life! Dunno much about Weaverville but I know the Stagecoach Pizzeria is here and that's more than enough to pay this place another visit! Thank you so much Lou!! :) ♡
Great pizza and awesome friend mushrooms, large portion. Staff was friendly...at least our server was. And they have Dreyers ice cream too! If you are ready for a laid back experience and are willing to take the time it's great. Or order ahead to go.
