My Grandfather was the founder. Me and my wife was married there it's a great place to visit.

I used my wife's visa here for the 2$ fee and they called the Sheriff's on me. Who steals a Bank card and goes to the Museum..I'll be sure to wear long sleeves in small town events like this one.

A fabulous museum. Real rich in Trinity county history.

This museum gave a good feel for the way of life for both early american pioneers and Chinese immigrants who established the city that exists today. There was a broad exhibit of artifacts including tools for gold mining, rocks representing the geology of the area, tincture bottles, clothes, medical devices, firefighter tools, photos of local citizens through the town's history, musical instruments (mostly pianos), a relocated jail cell, and more.

Rich in history!! Great display!! Check out the Joss House next door!!!
